The art of losing isn't hard to master,

失去的藝術不難掌握

so many things seems filled with the intent to be lost,

很多事情看上去終究會失去

and their lost is no disaster.

而這種失去並不意味著災難

其實一開始Alice在跑步的時候，就短短幾分鐘已經說明了接下來的故事

Alice的人生就是不停的奔跑著，一路很順遂

忽然間她失去方向而停下來了，整個鏡頭繞著Alice旋轉著，周圍漸漸模糊

就好像她的世界一點一滴的崩塌，一塊一塊的剝落......

深呼吸後，整個世界又是原來熟悉的模樣，又回到正軌

只是真的跟原本一模一樣嗎

而Alice的丈夫John在整部電影中，似乎沒有太大的心情轉變

We have to keep the important things in our life going.

We have to try or we are going to go crazy......

陪Alice去複診的時候，John拼命否定醫生的判斷

認為這一切怎麼會降臨在他們的生活

其實他也害怕了，如果不繼續假裝正常的生活著，他也會跟著崩潰

這樣也讓我剛開始對John冷淡的態度感到非常不解

後來他哭倒在小女兒Lydia的懷裡的時候

我忽然明白這是作為父親作為丈夫要扛起的悲傷，他不能也絕不可以示弱......

I feel like I can't find myself,

I have always been so defined by my intellect, my language, my articulate,

and now sometimes I can see the words hanging in front of me,

and I don't know who I am, and I don't know what I am gonna lost next

Alice一生都在積累各種各樣的記憶，某種意義上這些都成為她最重要的資產

她也很努力維持過去完美的自己，只是這一切都被阿茲海默症給剝奪了

她會擔心別人會不會因為她怪異的舉止言語而改變對過去健康自己的看法

生命從來都不公平，壞人總得不到報應，而好人卻也得不到善終

Alice選擇像蝴蝶一樣，自殺影片的資料夾以蝴蝶來命名

蝴蝶的美麗總不能抵擋嚴寒，秋來花漸落便是蝴蝶離別之時

雖然牠的生命短暫，但牠的美麗卻永留人間

而經由小女兒Lydia的話劇，也可以感受到Alice與家人面對病魔的心路歷程

They are leaving us. They are quite left us, quiet and forever.

We alone remain to begin our lives again.

We must live, we must live.

There will come a time. We all know.

They are all suffering, and there would be no history.

Tomorrow I will go off on my own, and I will teach,

I will give everything to those who perhaps need it.

It's autumn now, soon it will be winter.

活在當下，也許這是他們唯一能做的，不要為了掌握失去的藝術而把自己擊垮

Lydia在影片最後，訴說的劇本也是在告訴受病痛的人們：

Nothing is lost forever.

不要害怕記憶破了一個黑洞，愛會一點一滴的編織修復

就算失去記憶，愛也永遠不會消失.....
